Today is a momentous day. Today is the day that we share the results of the Invisible Poetry contest. We made the announcement through our email list, and through our Invisible Diseases .com facebook page. The people heard and they answered our call. We received hundreds of emails and what we read stopped us in our tracks! Your voices, your beautiful voices, sounded loudly with strength, endurance and soul. The Art Committee members were all abuzz over the entries, as they read your words through teary eyes and hopeful spirits. I am beyond PROUD of all of my community-family of Invisible Diseases for being honest and brave. It is not an easy thing to spill your vulnerabilities into words for others to experience. Believe me, I understand. Together, we are an army of health warriors, and our words are the ammunition to win the fight.
